UPDATE: THE PANELS HAVE BEEN SOLD! THANKS TO THE BUYER FOR SUPPORTING OUR ORGANIZATION!

This is a fundraiser for the Solar Guild and Citizens for Solar, local Tucson nonprofit organizations!

These panels were recently carefully and professionally removed from a home here in Tucson during a homeowner's upgrade to a newer system. Minor repairs may be needed before these are put back in service. These panels are being sold as-is with no implied warranty. The string voltages were tested before removal and these panels are still likely producing at least 90% of their rated specs, so they'll be producing power for many years to come.
Buyer is responsible for packing, loading and transport. These panels will go quickly at this price, but please remember they are being sold as-is with no implied warranty. Also, this goes without saying, but please be sure to check with your local authority before attempting any grid interconnection. Bring your volt/amp meters to be sure these will work for your project(s) before purchase.

There are 16 modules total. Schott is also a glass company, so naturally these are a dual-glass design (glass back instead of a poly backing). One of the panels has a shattered glass backing that does not seem to affect its performance. These panels are very large and heavy, so please be sure to bring an extra helper to load the panels into your truck or trailer for transport.

The specs are:

Schott Solar, model number is ASE-270-DFG/50
Pmpp 260W
Vmpp 43.7V
Impp 5.3A
Voc 60.8V
Isc 5.9A
A test date stamp of 10JUN08
All panels operating normally at disassembly

Please see attached pictures of the panels. Pdf brochures are available online (search for the model number).

Contact our Secretary John at yojimbo9000@yahoo.com, or call/text (520) 235-5285 for more info and to schedule a showing. Hurry, at this price this set of panels will go quickly.

100% of the money raised from the sale of these panels will benefit the Solar Guild and Citizens for Solar (a 501c3) local Tucson nonprofit organization. We do solar related community outreach projects such as installing the large 40kW solar array at the Biosphere 2, standalone lighting systems for the ramadas at Catalina State Park, as well as hosting the Solar Potluck every year at Catalina State Park, Valley of the Moon, and more. You can visit our website at www.solarguild.org for more information about us.

Thanks for helping to support the Solar Guild and Citizens for Solar!
