About the Solar Guild

The Solar Guild is made up of a board of Students, professionals, educators and community members interested in all forms of solar energy. Incorporated in 2011, and initiated by a group of former students of the Pima Community college SLR 101 and 102 classes. The group wanted to help others learn about solar; bring together like minded people and create dialogue among community members.

Our Mission Statement

To increase the use of solar energy by providing hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities for Solar Guild members in the context of installing solar energy systems for community based projects.
