Since our organization has changed from membership fee based to a donations only funding model, now is a better time than ever to join our group and gain hands-on solar power experience - at no charge! Join the Solar Guild and Citizens for Solar today and become an active participant in your local solar community, either by simply helping us at our table at an upcoming event, or by helping us design our newsletter, website, or getting dirty with us installing solar panels, running wire and hooking up an inverter! Help is always needed in any way you can.
SG & CFS members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of upcoming solar projects that advance the use of solar energy, learning the skills needed to enter the solar industry if so desired. The Solar Guild has demonstrated solar power systems at many local events such as Earth Day and Cyclovia, and we're always looking for volunteers to help spread the world of clean energy for all. Our group has created small demonstration systems for Goodwill Industries and the Girl Scouts - All the way up to installing a 40KW system at the Biosphere 2 in conjunction with the University of Arizona.

We're always seeking new projects!

Do you run a local charitable non-profit organization here in Tucson such as a school or church? The Solar Guild is available for solar outreach and demonstrations for schools and any STEM related events. Or, is your non-profit organization considering integrating a solar power system? We have worked with many local organizations such as the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Pima Community College, Goodwill Industries, University of Arizona, Valley of the Moon, Catalina State Park, just to name a few!

Support the Solar Guild & Citizens for Solar!

DONATE TODAY! Help the Solar Guild & Citizens for Solar Here:
Upgrading your home to a new solar system? DONATE your old solar system!
Your help can come in many ways! If you're an early adopter that's about to upgrade your solar system, don't just let your solar installer take away your old panels (or worse, don't dispose of your solar panels in the landfill). Instead, DONATE your first generation panels, inverters and racking to the Solar Guild/Citizens for Solar and receive a charitable tax credit for your donation! Your donation helps fuel our community solar projects here in Tucson. If we're unable to use your panels as a donation (due to damage, not working, etc) instead of putting them in a landfill, we can still help by getting you in touch with local Tucson solar panel recycling or disposal programs. Contact us today for more information.

The Solar Guild & Citizens for Solar is currently in need of a truck / pickup truck to help transport materials as well as haul our new solar trailer! If you are thinking about getting of your old truck, donate to us and you'll receive a charitable tax donation letter good for a deduction on your taxes! Contact us for more info today!

There are many other way to participate! If you're fascinated by solar power like us and you'd like to help out on an upcoming project, make a cash or materials donation, join our board of directors or simply subscribe to our email list, please explore the rest of our website or simply use the contact box below to get in touch with us. You'll be glad you did!
